
Wenhui Shi, Male, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor, a recipient of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the person in charge of the Zhejiang Provincial First-Class Course Silviculture and Ecological Restoration, and a Tianmu Distinguished Young Talent of Zhejiang A&F University. He serves as a Standing Member of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Forestry, a Youth Council Member of the Silviculture Branch of the Chinese Society of Forestry, a Committee Member of the Forest Resources Professional Committee of the China Natural Resources Society, Deputy Secretary-General of the Afforestation Branch of the Zhejiang Forestry Society, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Bamboo Professional Committee. His work is centered on teaching and research in silviculture, with research interests in root traits and quality characteristics of forest trees, rhizosphere soil carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus cycling and microbial characteristics, the roles of fine roots and extraradical hyphae in soil phosphorus cycling, root exudate characteristics of forest trees, and soil-root-microbe interaction mechanisms in forest ecosystems, and has achieved a series of research outcomes in these fields.
