
Ji Feng Shao, Male, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. He received his Ph.D. in Plant Nutrition from the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015. He subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Plant Sciences and Resources (IPSR), Okayama University, Japan, and joined Zhejiang A&F University in 2018. His research focuses on the functional characterization of plant transporters, using rice and bamboo as model systems to investigate the processes of mineral element uptake from soil into roots, translocation to shoots, and final distribution within plants. He has published over 30 papers in journals such as Trends in Plant Science, New Phytologist, Plant Physiology, Journal of Experimental Botany, and Tree Physiology.
